Hotel photography
Everywhere you go, there is a moment that will never come again — a breath of light that belongs to that place and no other. It’s there when you walk into a room, when you fall asleep, when you wake. A light that catches your eye and wakes the soul. It’s always there. You just have to open your eyes. My work is being present for it — catching it, and bringing a little heaven on earth down to a wall.
The work
Made between 2015 and 2026, almost all of it at first light or last. The centre is the Florida Keys — Marathon, Bahia Honda, the Seven Mile Bridge, the Dry Tortugas — and it moves outward from there: up the Atlantic coast to Martha’s Vineyard, south into the Caribbean and Central America.
It works two ways. License from the archive: it is deep enough to hang a property without repeating an image, and consistent enough in palette to hold from the lobby to the last guest room.
Or commission the work. I photograph your property — the light it actually gets — and the best of it comes back printed on glass to decorate your walls, so your guests walk in and feel its ambience.
One photographer, start to finish. No stock, no licensing chain, nobody else to clear it through.
